Summer 2009

Jessica signed on to score the film “Max Schmeling,” starring Henry Maske and Susanne Wuest.  “Max Schmeling” is set to release on April 2010 (Germany).


Spring 2009

Jessica composed the music for “Darfur,” starring Edward Furlong, Kristanna Loken, and Billy Zane. In this score Jessica collaborated with world renowned  musician, Arto Tuncboyaciyan.


Fall 2008

We are proud to annouce that Jessica got invited by the ESTEPONA FANTASTIC AND HORROR FILM FESTIVAL to have performed a Suite of her music by the Malaga Symphony Orchestra. It will include themes she composed for the movie IN THE NAME OF THE KING.

Feel free to visit the closing concert of the festival September 6 in Estepona, Spain.

Jessica visited the Filmmusic Festival FIMUCITE in Tenerife and combined the trip with a long deserved vacation in Europe.

Spring 2008

Jessica recorded the score to the game based action movie FAR CRY starring the german actors Til Schweiger, Udo Kier and Ralf Moeller. It will open in german theatres in October this year. Currently she composes the score for a movie based on a real story that happened recently in Germany: STOIC.

IN THE NAME OF THE KING: A DUNGEON SIEGE TALE starts January 11 in the theatres across the US.

Jessica also scored the commercial for RANDSTAD which opened worldwide and promotes the release of IN THE NAME OF THE KING in Europe. She is invited for two TV shows in Germany.

Fall 2007

The german newspaper KÖLNER STADTANZEIGER released an article about Jessica and her work as film composer. Read the article here (german only).

SCHWERTER DES KÖNIGS (In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale) released in german theatres on number two. The Inspired By Album includes a few themes of the score.

The soundtrack for POSTAL is now available. It includes a selection of Jessica's score and many songs a.o. "Jihad Killaz" by Ruff P.

Jessica recorded a trailer for her next project FAR CRY. Next to this, she worked on a commercial for AUDI and the score for ALONE IN THE DARK II.

The DVD and the soundtrack for BLOODRAYNE: DELIVERANCE is released.

The game developers "Replay Studios" hired Jessica to do the game score for 1968: TUNNELRATS. She just finished the recordings and mixing of the film.

Summer 2007

Jessica composes the music to the movie 1968: TUNNELRATS in her new studio in the US. Singer Caitlin Tortorici is doing the vocals on her score and the end titles song BREATHE IN (music: Jessica de Rooij, lyrics: Cailtin Tortorici, Tim Harris, Dragos Nedelcu).

Winter / Spring 2007

Jessica finished the scores for SEED, POSTAL and BLOODRAYNE: DELIVERANCE. She recorded all three movies in Bratislava.
